This is the "maternity ward" where our moms have some piece and quiet from the rest of the crew while raising their kids. Below are Angel and Macy. We purchased these pens on ebay and we love them! They're very functional!
We have recently found a new appreciation for custom made bedding that suit our needs here so we mostly use Komfortkrate bedding for our guys.
Above view of our nursery beds, they are made to be very functional proving to be the perfect bed for our moms and babies! The upper and lower ties keep them well secured which was important for us as our pups always end up taking their bedding on the soiled side. We needed to prevent that to help keep things clean.
Another above view, as you can see, mom has some room to take a break for babies, but babies cannot get out of the beds yet.
The best feature of this bed is that it has a compartment at the bottom to fit a heating pad on one side securely keeping mom and babies safe from the cord.
The compartment can also be filled with an ice blanket or ice packs to keep dogs nice, cool and dry on those hot days or at the shows.

Many people have inquired about our nursery beds so i thought i would post their construction. Brenda at Komfortkrate specializes in custom orders so we like that everything fits our needs.
Front view of the nursery bed, shows plenty of ties to keep it nicely secured. This one was made specifically for my puppy pens and are 18 x 18 and 9 inches tall.
Back view of the nursery bed with the zipper at the bottom of it to put a heating pad in the bottom of the bed or ice packs if it is too hot.

The construction inside the bottom of the bed is designed with several layers to keep the bottom from getting too warm. We only put a pad to cover about a third to half of it so that mom and babies can always get away from it.
